Glenn Martin Christopher Francis Quinn was born on 28th May, 1970 in Dublin
Ireland. He was raised in Cabinteely, Co Dublin and attended Clonkeen College
(a Roman Catholic Christian Brothers school) in Blackrock near Dublin and graduated
with the class of 1987. In 1988 Glenn moved with his mother and two sisters to the
United States. (His father had walked out on his family a few months before). Glenn's firt role was as a pool shark in the Richard Marx video "Satisfied". In 1991 Glenn starred in the movie "Shout" next to John Travolta where he shared an on screen kiss with Gwyneth Paltrow (her first on screen kiss). After "Shout" Glenn went on to have roles in a number of other movies and television series. One of Glenn Quinn's most noticable roles was that of Mark Healy, Becky Connor's husband in the tv sitcom "Roseanne". While still playing Mark on "Roseanne", Quinn also took a role as youngest son Cedric on a series called "Covington Cross". But while "Roseanne" was filmed in the US, "Covington Cross" was filmed in England, which gave the actor one hell of a commute. Another role that made Glenn extremely populair was that of Allen Francis Doyle a half-demon on the tv series "Angel". Most of Glenn's roles have called for him to hide his Irish accent and done an American one. The WB series "Angel" was his first role in an American series where he was allowed to use his own accent. In addition to acting Glenn Quinn played the guitar and drums. He also co-owned a nightclub called "Goldfinger" with Mark Leddy. The nightclub lies in Hollywood, Los Angeles and has a 007 motif. Glenn had been in rehab over 11 months for his drug problems. But was kicked out of rehab 4 days before he died, because he was caught doing drugs. On Tuesday, December 3rd 2002, Glenn Quinn passed away. He was currently crashing at a friends house in North Hollywood, California when they found him at 11 am.
