INTERVIEW
NIGHTMARES AND DREAMSCAPES

What aspects of the script appealed to you most?
Within the script, there is much left open to interpretation with the character. As the actor, I must ask questions like, 'What's happening to my character, why is it happening, and what is my character feeling because of the events in the story?' These inquiries make me a better actor and my character more realistic.

How would you describe the plot of this particular story?
A newlywed, in-love couple is on their honeymoon in London when they are invited to dinner by one of Lonnie's associates, who lives in a neighborhood called Crouch End. On their way to dinner, many strange things begin to take place. Lonnie's wife, Doris, is very superstitious and sees warning signs. Lonnie disregards her intuition and continues to venture to Crouch End. Soon after, Lonnie encounters something unexplainable and is slowly forced to leave his wife. He attempts to stay with her, but as the story progresses, he keeps getting pulled farther and farther away from her towards his new destiny.

What's one of your biggest nightmares or greatest fears?
Getting eaten by a shark.

Stephen King promised to take viewers on a journey that they'll never forget with these stories. Do you believe he lives up to that promise?
Yes, I think this is incredibly unique. These are incredible stories, and I wish we could see more of this particular filmmaking.
